ARTISTS STATEMENT
"The saying that 'the eyes are the windows to the soul' is never more true than when considering a portrait. The responsibility of the artist is to capture the personality of the sitter from a single viewpoint, and not only to capture the likeness and to render it in a competent way, but to tell the story of that person, whether its through body language or the way the eyes connect with the viewer.".
